Products & Services

  • Mental Health Assessments

When planning a visit to our office, please try to allow extra time for traffic and parking. If you arrive more than ten minutes late for your appointment, we will try our best to still see your child, however, in some circumstances, you may be asked to reschedule. Please also note that despite all our efforts to maintain a prompt schedule, sometimes the providers run late due to unexpected emergencies and we will ask for your flexibility at that given time.

  • Well Child Visits

We recommend that you schedule Well-child visits at least 4 weeks in advance. Examinations are based on current recommendations provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Your child’s overall health is important to us! That’s why all of our physicals are scheduled for 30 minutes, in order to allow enough time to review your child’s health thoroughly and answer all of your questions. Be sure to call in advance to schedule a physical for your child. Because our schedules fill quickly between August and September, we suggest that you schedule your child’s physical in the late spring or early summer (see below for the Well-child Examination Schedule). Sport physical letters or updated immunization records can be generated at the time of your child’s physical in most cases. We will need three to five business days to complete requests for immunization records or other sport physical related documentation.

  • Same-Day Sick Appointments

Same-day sick child appointments are available for our current patients. However, new patients are always welcome! Please call (303) 430-0823 and we will be happy to schedule an appointment for your sick child at our office. We ask that you call and schedule a same-day appointment rather than just bringing your child into the clinic, to minimize your time spent in the waiting room. Click here for Appointment information.

  • Newborn and Infant Examinations

We like to see newborns within 2 to 3 days of their leaving the hospital. Examinations are based on current recommendations provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

  • Telemedicine Appointments

  • After Hours Services

It’s midnight and you’re woken by the feverish cries of your young child. Nothing you’ve tried is bringing down her fever. Now what? Call Mountainland Pediatrics at (303) 430-0823. The Mountainland Pediatrics answering service will refer your call to a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado who will contact you within 5 minutes. The nurse will assess your situation and make recommendations. Depending on the circumstances, the on-call Mountainland Pediatrics’ doctors may also contact you. The doctor may phone in a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, might recommend that you make an appointment with Mountainland Pediatrics the next morning, or might even ask that you bring your child to an Emergency Room as soon as possible. Whatever the recommendation, you will be comforted knowing that your child is in the capable hands of one of the nation’s top 10 pediatric healthcare experts in the country.

  • Vaccinations

Parents who vaccinate their children are protecting them from 16 different diseases by the age of 2. We understand that you may have questions or concerns about vaccinating your children. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition are both excellent resources for parents, and provide the answers to the most frequently asked questions.

  • Flu Clinics

In mid to late fall, Mountainland Pediatrics provides flu vaccines for patients and their families. Appointments will be available on weekdays. All infants and children, between the ages of 6 months and 8 years who are receiving the vaccine for the first time, will require two flu vaccines. All children ages 9 and older only require one flu vaccine.

  • Hospitalization

If hospitalization is needed, Mountainland Pediatrics can admit patients through Children’s Hospital Colorado (all campuses), and through Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (with campuses at North Suburban Medical Center and Presbyterian St. Lukes). While in the hospital, your child will be seen by hospital staff who will communicate with Mountainland Pediatrics about your child’s care.
