General Practice Medicine Thornton
A Southern California native, Teresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a specialty in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She has spent most of her career working with the older adult population. Her clinical interests include geriatric medicine, performing procedures such as joint injections, phlebotomy and wound care, and diabetes management. She is passionate about humanizing healthcare. “As a provider, I try to make recommendations that I believe will result in the best outcomes, but at the end of the day, the patient will always have the final say in their treatment plan. I want my patients to feel valued, respected, and most importantly, cared for.” When not seeing patients, Teresa enjoys cooking, watching comedy shows, and spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
